A stunning washed Ethiopian from small holder farmers in the Goro Bedessa Woreda in Hamela Wamena, Guji. This is one of our favorite Ethiopian coffees of the year, fragrant orange blossom, jasmine and savory herbs on the nose and a palate dominated by almost any fruit you can imagine, fresh white and yellow peach, nectarine, broadening into a syrupy sweet and surprisingly bodied mid palate, with strawberry and raspberry jam and a hint of blueberry. The finish is clean with a surprising and pleasant cocoa bitterness and very little tannin. Highly recommended for pour overs and other filter methods.
